Eviation was co-founded by Omer Bar-Yohay (left) and Aviv Tzidon (right) in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Bar-Yohay and Tzidon both served distinguished careers in the Israeli military. The combined expertise and passion of the two led to the creation of Eviation.

2017

The first all-electric aircraft prototype (drone, scale 1:4), named the Orca – with inspiration taken from the marine mammal’s speed and agility – is unveiled at the 2017 Paris Air Show.

2018

Eviation selects industry-leading magniX to provide electric propulsion technology for the Alice V2 Prototype.

2019

Clermont Group acquires 70% of Eviation.

Full-size, functional prototype, the Alice, steals the limelight at the 2019 Paris Air Show.

2020

Eviation moves its headquarters to Arlington, WA, USA, and secures the facilities for future manufacturing.

2021

Assembly of first production configuration Alice (commuter variant). Executive and cargo configurations also unveiled.

2022

The Alice takes to the skies for the first time at the Grant County International Airport in Washington on 27 September, a crucial milestone for the aerospace industry as we usher in a new era of sustainable, quiet, cost-effective flight.
