Transforming
Air Travel
We are electrifying regional flight, leading the way into a new era of affordable, on-demand, point-to-point travel. Our technology will reshape the way the world moves people and products.
Delivering a Magical
Flying Experience
We delight our customers by delivering brilliantly engineered and beautifully designed aircraft that provide a unique, high-quality and reliable flying experience for both passengers and operators.
Safety is Our
Highest Priority
Nothing is more important than the well-being of those who fly on our aircraft and the team that builds them. From industry-leading design to the application of meticulous manufacturing standards, we put safety first.
Leading a New Era of
Sustainable Flight
We are creating a cleaner, better world, addressing the climate challenge by taking action to reduce the airline industry’s carbon emissions. Alice is leading the way in establishing the use of electric power in aviation.
Zero Carbon
Alice is designed for short, city-to-city hops (250 NM), producing zero carbon emissions. Middle-mile flights are set to become the new sustainable norm over trains or cars.
Lower Cost
Electric aircraft can achieve up to 80% savings on fuel and energy costs compared to combustion engines, significantly lowering overall operating expenses.

Quieter
Electric aircraft have shown considerably lower noise levels compared to conventional planes, especially during takeoff and landing. This quieter operation could enable access to airports currently restricted by noise limits.
Fossil-Fueled Aviation
and Our Climate
Fossil-Fueled Aviation and
Our Climate
By 2050, the aviation sector may produce more than a quarter of global CO2 emissions if jet engine usage continues to rise.

Electric Aviation
Has Arrived
With the increasing demand for an alternative to fossil fuel-powered flight, Eviation has engineered an aircraft capable of delivering.
The all-electric propulsion system is a revolutionary step forward in aviation. This world-leading technology enables the aerospace industry to embrace the electric age.
The Eviation Journey
Eviation was founded with a big, bold, dream: to build the first all-electric commuter aircraft that would enable a new era of electric aviation to take-off. From an ambitious start-up to an innovating manufacturer in the U.S. aerospace hub of Seattle, Eviation has been driven by creating the future of flying.
Eviation was co-founded by Omer Bar-Yohay (left) and Aviv Tzidon (right), from Tel Aviv, Israel.
They had a dream to democratize air travel with electric planes. The combined expertise and passion of the two led to the creation of Eviation.
The Orca
In June 2017, Eviation unveiled its first Alice aircraft prototype at the prestigious Paris Air Show. The one-quarter scale replica of Eviation’s original design was named 'The Orca' as it was inspired by the streamlined elegance and speed of the aquatic mammals.
In 2018, Eviation selected magniX to supply their industry-leading propulsion units for the groundbreaking proof-of-concept aircraft. The news was released ahead of the 2019 Paris Air Show, and the aviation world eagerly awaited the first glimpses of Eviation’s full-sized ‘pure electric’ aircraft. We also relocated our headquarters to the United States.
Eviation unveiled Alice to the delight of the media—a full-size prototype of the all-electric, 9-seater commuter aircraft, plus two crew. In the same year, The Clermont Group became the majority shareholder in Eviation, enabling the team to focus all efforts on engineering and refining design.
Paris
Air Show
Eviation releases details of a significant redesign to optimize the performance of the Alice. A new T-tail configuration and the relocation of the electric propulsion units from the wingtips to a pylon mount at the rear of the fuselage enable better performance. In December 2021, runway testing of Alice begins in preparation for the inaugural flight.
Alice
First
Flight
Alice takes to the skies for the first time at Grant County International Airport in Washington on 27 September, marking a giant leap for the aerospace industry as we lead a new era of sustainable, quiet, and cost-effective flight. The flight is widely reported by international media, capturing the imagination of people around the world.
In March 2024, Eviation made progress in Alice’s development by completing wind tunnel testing at the University of Washington in Seattle. With over 400 runs and nearly 9,000 individual data points collected, the testing provided crucial insights that validated Alice’s production design. This data complements findings from Alice’s first flight in 2022, bringing us closer to delivering zero-emissions flight to passengers worldwide.
In April 2024, Eviation completed the Conceptual Design Review (CoDR) of its all-electric Alice aircraft, marking a significant milestone toward certification and commercialization. This review ensured Alice’s design is optimized for streamlined manufacturing and a best-in-class passenger experience, all while maintaining its signature look and performance.
